Mitsue's Story
'Making the perfect house for the rest of my life...
The house I had lived in until then had been very comfortable, but deep down I always found myself wishing it was a little warmer, brighter, and with a Japanese touch.
I wanted to spend the rest of my life living in a bright, warm home that suited my life, so I told my daughter that I wanted to renovate it, and she introduced me to a wonderful architect on Instagram that she had heard about from a friend. From there, Helen Yellowdoor Design was introduced to me.
I was worried about whether I would be able to accurately convey my thoughts during the two-hour interview with Helen, but her report described what was important to me in life, how I could reflect what I wanted to achieve in the renovation, and how I could live happily within my home.
What I had thought was clearly expressed in writing (report). I was so impressed that I immediately called and told her to go ahead, and the project started four months earlier than planned. The first on-site meeting was held via Zoom as I was in Japan, and Helen and Eugene's team handled everything, completing the project in four and a half months as planned. I left everything, from design to project management, to Helen. I became a truly lucky client. Thank you, Helen and Eugen’s team builders.'
